Who publishes Memolines
Memolines is published by Yalma Studio. Using the app or this site means accepting these terms. Any question can be sent to contact@memolines.app.
What the service does
Memolines lets a parent scan their children’s drawings, attach a title, a date and a story to each one, then find them again, share them or print them.
The device remains the primary copy. Cloud backup, when enabled, is a safety copy meant to restore the library on another installation — it does not replace the device’s own backups.
A service for parents
Memolines is intended for parents and legal guardians. Children neither create nor manage an account. The parent decides what is recorded about each child and how child mode is used.
The account
The Free plan requires no account: everything stays on the device. A technical account is created when a purchase starts, when a purchase is restored, when cloud backup is enabled, or when an email address is linked.
That account is anonymous at first and tied to a single device. Linking an email address is what makes it possible to find the library again on another phone; without one, a library lost with the device cannot be returned by anyone.
Subscriptions
The Premium and Ultra plans are auto-renewing subscriptions purchased through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. The price, the duration and what each plan includes are shown before purchase, in the app and on the store listing.
- Renewal is automatic until cancellation.
- Cancelling and managing a subscription is done in the App Store or Google Play account settings, never inside Memolines.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; the current period is not refunded pro rata.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, depending on the store used.
- The “Restore purchases” option reinstates an active subscription on a new installation.
Right of withdrawal
A subscription gives access to digital content immediately after purchase. By accepting that immediate performance, the consumer waives the fourteen-day right of withdrawal, as provided by French consumer law. The terms of the store used apply in addition.
When a subscription ends
Expiry never deletes the drawings held on the device. Drawings beyond the free plan’s quota simply become unavailable to view for as long as no plan is active.
The cloud copy of an expired subscription is kept for thirty days, then deleted. Resuming a subscription before that deadline restores full access.
What the parent warrants
The parent remains the owner of the images they add. They warrant that they hold the rights needed to scan, keep, share and print them.
Memolines must not be used to store or distribute unlawful content, nor a third party’s content without their agreement. Yalma Studio may suspend an account plainly used for those purposes.
Deleting your account
Account deletion is requested from within the app, in settings, or from the dedicated page on this site. It erases the account, its backup data and the associated files.
It does not cancel the subscription: that is cancelled in the App Store or Google Play account settings, failing which billing continues.
Personal data
How data is processed is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
Availability and changes
The service may evolve, and some features may be changed or discontinued. A change that would materially reduce what a paid plan in progress promised would be announced before taking effect.
Yalma Studio does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, in particular during maintenance or if a third-party service the backup depends on fails.
Liability
Yalma Studio is answerable for direct damage attributable to it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under French law, in particular in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Because the device remains the primary copy, it is for the parent to keep their own backups of the images they care about.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought at contact@memolines.app before any action; consumer-protective rules of jurisdiction remain applicable.
